Employment Support
Equal Communities delivers tailored community led employment support designed to help individuals facing complex and multiple barriers move into sustainable work. We work with people who are often excluded from mainstream provision including refugees, ethnic minority communities, women affected by domestic abuse and those experiencing long term economic inactivity. Our support includes one to one guidance, skills development and direct pathways into employment. We focus on recognising existing strengths and transferable skills, helping individuals navigate recruitment systems, access training, and secure meaningful job opportunities aligned to their aspirations.
We combine practical employability support with strong employer engagement and ongoing support in work to ensure long term outcomes rather than short term job entry. By operating through trusted community hubs and outreach settings, we engage those least likely to access statutory services and translate trust into real employment outcomes. Our work is rooted in the belief that employment is a key driver of independence, stability, and long term inclusion, and we support individuals at every stage of their journey from initial engagement through to sustained employment and progression
